Custody and Visitation Mediation

The courts take the approach that it is in the best interests of children to have two parents who are able to reasonably work out their child custody and visitation issues without litigation.  Child custody litigation is emotional and can be very expensive and is best avoided when possible. A court certified mediator is a neutral party, usually an attorney or a retired judge, who can help you to resolve these complex and extremely important issues with minimal costs and emotional damage.

You can agree to meet with a mediator on your own or pursuant to a court order. Timothy D. McCarthy is a court certified mediator who can help you resolve your custody and visitation issues in the best interests of your family without litigation.
